Charles MacIsaac for District 7
Connecting With District 7 Constituents Is My Priority.
Engage, Inform, and Empower
My Mission
My mission is to engage, inform, and empower constituents in District 7. I am committed to fostering open communication, addressing community needs, and building a brighter future together.

By encouraging active participation and feedback, I aim to create a more connected and engaged community. Join me in our journey towards positive change and inclusive governance.
I am the son of Mike and Nancy (Deveau) MacIsaac and older brother to Craig MacIsaac. Born and brought up in Yarmouth N.S. I went to post secondary school at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax before pursuing a law enforcement career in 2007 with the Ontario Provincial Police. I was stationed in Sioux Lookout Ontario and in 2010 decided to make a career change by moving back to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. In the fall of 2010, I started a funeral director and embalmer apprenticeship underneath my father’s guidance through Nova Scotia Community College. In 2012 I became a fully licensed funeral director and embalmer. In July 2015 I married Francine (d’Entremont) MacIsaac of Lower West Pubnico and have two beautiful children Sophie and Jude. After 10 years of serving the community at Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium I purchased the business from my father and most recently am the Managing Director.

I have always been one to colour outside the lines and think outside the box. Some of my notable accomplishments at Sweeny’s include.
. Being the first funeral home in Nova Scotia to see the value in Webcasting
. Modernized the building to better facilitate our clients
. Opened Jacob’s Loft Event Center to provide a space for community to gather.
I am also a landlord in Yarmouth who understands the housing crisis and continues to provide affordable accommodations for our tenants while advocating for permanent solutions for people in need of housing.
In my spare time I volunteer with the CBDC (Community Business Development Corporation) as a board member and enjoy ATV'ing on local trails with my family.

It would be an honour to continue the work of my good friend Nick Hilton and be a strong voice for the district 7 community.
